Grenevia “Liderem ESG”

Grenevia among the winners of the “Leaders of the World of Energy 2022” competition. We were awarded in the ESG Leader category. The awards were presented during the gala crowning the 37th EuroPOWER Energy & 7th OZE POWER Conference held on April 13, 2023.

The World Energy Leaders awards were granted in six categories. Grenevia received the statuette for its green business transformation and activities in the area of sustainable development.

“The ESG area is a key element of the development strategy of the FAMUR Group, which is currently transforming into Grenevia, being the first industrial concern in Poland investing in projects that follow the green transformation trend. Both Famur’s previous activities and Grenevia’s business and development goals are closely related to their impact on the climate and environment. This is a transition from an emissions-intensive business towards a clean economy. It is precisely based on the ESG component that the company began a responsible business transformation in 2021, the culmination of which is the change to Grenevia,” has been expressed in the explanatory memorandum.

Mirosław Bendzera, CEO of Grenevia SA, received the award on behalf of the company. He was also a speaker at the conference opening panel “Safe and clean energy for Poland – a macro view”, during which topics such as the electrification of industry and transport or the impact of the war in Ukraine on Poland’s energy transformation were discussed.
Among the laureates of the World Energy Leaders were: Tauron (Innovation of the Year), SAP Polska (Provider of solutions for the sector), Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe Westinghouse Electric Company (Investment Initiative of the Year), Alicja Rybczyńska, CIO of Veolia Poland (Manager of the Year), Rafał Gawin , President of the Energy Regulatory Office (Man of the Year).
